The upgraded squash centre will include:
Four international squash courts designed to the highest standards
Glass-back walls for improved spectator viewing and coaching
A spacious and open design with improved lighting and flooring
A dedicated viewing area for tournaments and programs
A COMMUNITY HUB FOR ALL
The new UM Squash Centre will support:
Junior Programs: team practices, try-outs, and summer camps
Beginner Lessons: group lessons for university students and staff, as well as introductory programs for children and new Canadians
Leagues & Tournaments: mixed leagues, women’s leagues, university leagues, and tournaments for all skill levels
Specialty Programs: Indigenous squash, wheelchair squash, and LGBTQ2S+ squash programs
Coaching & Development: private lessons, high-performance training, and programs for aspiring coaches
Over 1,800 hours of annual programming
