Coaching Certification
The NCCP Program has been revised.
In the past, coaching certification consisted of Theory, Technical and Practical.
Theory 1 is now “Introduction to Competition A” or Multi-sport Modules, Part A
Theory 2 is now “Introduction to Competition B” or Multi-sport Modules, Part B
The other components are now into the following “Streams”:
Training and certification will be based on coaching steams and contexts that reflect the different types of coaches in the Canadian sport system:

1. Received training at the Coaching Foundations Course
2. Received training at the Multi-sport Modules, Part A (Individual modules available as home study)
3. Passed the Squash Teacher evaluation.
4. Passed the ethics evaluation (will be available on line sometime in 2005)
Intro to Squash - Certified Instructor
1. Received training at the Coaching Foundations Course
2. Received training at the Multi-sport Modules, Part A (Individual modules available as home study)
3. Passed the Squash Instructor evaluation
4. Passed the ethics evaluation
Intro to Squash – Trained

Certification expires after 5 years of inactivity in accordance with the National Coaching Certification Program Policy.
