COVID-19 UPDATE - Effective February 12-21
For clubs that are re-opening at the required 25% capacity and following Return to Play protocols
CAUTIOUSLY some Squash is approved. 

#1. One athlete can be on the court alone practicing (solo/ghosting)
#2. One athlete and one coach are allowed on a court at one time 
(one on one instruction/technical training, no competition)

The Canadian Men's Team  and Women's Team Championships were held  February 14 - 16, 2020.

The Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club was host to the Men's event, while the Women's team traveled to Gatineau Quebec for the Women's event.

On the Men's side, MB Team # 1 won the consolation Final over Saskatchewan and MB Team #2 won the Consolation play off over Nova Scotia

University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre Squash Courts. 

The first half of the program will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings from September 30th through December 18th, 2019 and resume again in mid-January.    
Group 1 (ages 6-10) will begin at 6:00pm followed by Group 2 (ages 11-16) at 6:45pm.  
Space is limited with up to 8 spots per group.  
Racquets and eye protection will be provided.  
Fees for the fall session will be only $65 per athlete.

The Brown Family were lovers of Squash and Jo was no exception. Jo could always be found sitting court side supporting Tom during his matches. She loved catching up court side with all the friends she had made overs the years.  The Squash community will miss her.
 
In recognition of the many contributions the Brown Family has made to Squash a donation has been made to the National Trust Fund to benefit Junior Squash.

Through his Estate, Al established an on-going fund specifically targeted to improve and assist junior squash in Manitoba. His generous gift will be awarded annually to a junior boy or girl from Manitoba who exemplifies excellence in school, in the community and dedication to squash training and performance.
